Having spent his childhood as a professional footballer for Arsenal FC, Chris was only introduced to House Music by "samba la casa" partner Pablo Martinez in 2000! While pursuing a full time career in music you could catch Chris on the Big Screen appearing in the Ali G Movie and on UK TV in Footballers Wife's & Family Affairs.

He started full time in music by managing a number of DJ's in the UK, then moved onto assistant promotions manager at Virgin UK V:C Recordings in West London, before moving to Release the Groove record store in London's West End as Head House Buyer.

Over the past few years, Samba has DJ'd across the world playing a blend of fresh & Classic House Muzik. From Turnmills to The Cross, from Pacha, to Fabric in London! From the Wrigley's Chewing Gum Commercial on MTV to The International Hair Show! From the Notting Hill Carnival to The Full Moon Party. From Dubai & USA, Barhain & Vietnam to Australia & Malaysia, China & Japan, Italy & France …Chris has Samba'd the World!
Corporate companies such as Land Rover Thailand, Bulgari Hong Kong & Cerruti, China have also booked samba to light the party alive! Not forgetting his yearly appearance at the Ultra Festival for WMC in Miami!

He performed the 1 st Soulful House Set b2b with Terry Hunter at Ministry of Sound in Taipei, Taiwan and was the 1 st DJ to play a house set in Cambodia! Xmas eve 2005, Chris played b2b with Yoruba Records legend Osunlade!

He has Co-produced tracks that hit, top 10 in USA billboard on Chicago Label Vinyl Soul, Number 41 in the UK Charts & remixed the likes of Donell Jones, Angie Stone, Mary J Blige & Jocelyn Brown. The start of 2006 Chris was appointed as 'Director of Music' for Hong Kong's exclusive night spot Dragon-i.

Samba has now been in the studio in Los Angeles working on samba&ronilo productions, which explores all genres of house! With collaborations with Joi Cardwell, Canela Cox, Kadija Kamara and more of the industries best! Singles to be released on Soul Heaven Records & his latest remix with Chicago legend Terry Hunter forthcoming on T’s box!
